From 1998 to 2001 Prapanna lived at the Sri Aurobindo Ashram, where he was a teacher at the Sri Aurobindo International Centre for Education. Prapanna is the founder of the Center for Integral Education which opened the first Integral Education school in the USA, the Rainbow Kids Integral School, in San Diego, California. In 2003 he organized a journey to Auroville for a group of 18 Americans from Barbara Hubbard's Center for Conscious Evolution and the Global Family Network.
