Testimonials from
In 2003, from October 14 to November 1, a group of travelers made
up of members of Barbara Marx Hubbard's Center for Conscious Evolution
and the Global Family Network joined together for "A Journey of
Personal and Planetary Transformation" to Auroville. The group
had prepared for the trip with conference calls and individual
study of Auroville and the philosophical ideals upon which it
was founded. Led by Carolyn Anderson and John Zwerver of the Global
Family Network, and with the deeply touching facilitating of Makasha
and Katherine Roske of the New Mexico Hummingbird Ranch Community,
the group not only explored Auroville, but also engaged in group
and community practices designed to create resonance and mutual
understanding between group members. |

Kathleen Hosner: "Words don't express the gift this trip was. The opportunity
to experience a community that lives out the desire for transformation,
committed to harmony with the earth and each other, is life changing.
The presence of the Mother especially in the Matrimandir is healing
and enlightening. We are so void of the feminine energy as a culture
and in India and with the Mother you are surrounded by the nurturing,
healing & intuitive gifts that she gives so freely." |

John Robert Cornell: "It's hard to imagine a guide better suited to lead a trip to
Auroville, the amazing city of the dawn. Prapanna brings intelligence,
dedication, and a deep love of India and the Integral Yoga of
Sri Aurobindo and the Mother. His enthusiasm is infectious. His
energy is abundant and unflagging. His sensitivity to people's
needs is admirable. His outgoing nature opens doors everywhere.
His range of friendships and contacts in the Pondicherry and Auroville
areas is amazing. You can't walk down the streets of Pondicherry
without meeting someone else he knows. To all of this, add a rich,
wide knowledge of India and of spiritual practice. He takes care
of you like a For a day-by-day account of our 2003 Auroville Journey, please visit John Robert's weblog. |
