Volunteers are Welcome!!

There are many ways you can offer your time and services to our work.
Board of Directors: We are always seeking prospective members of the Board of Directors of CIE. In most, if not all cases, seats on the Board are offered only to individuals who have shown a strong dedication to our mission over time (usually for about a year) and have demonstrated an inclination and willingness to work for the vision rather than simply to serve in an advisory capacity. If you are interested in Board membership, have time and skills to offer to the manifestation of the vision CIE aspires to realize, please feel free to share your ideas with our team.

Advisory Committee: This body does not necessarily function as a committee per se, due to the fact that its members may be living virtually anywhere in the world. The members of the Advisory Committee are individuals who have made themselves available to the CIE team for consultation, or in an otherwise advisory capacity, on an as-needed basis. A few of the areas in which these advisors offer their expertise are fundraising, curriculum development, educational program design, marketing, community outreach, and team building.

Friends of the Center for Integral Education: This is a great opportunity for members of our larger community to be provided with on-going information about our activities and our progress towards manifesting the dream. Friends of CIE are made up all individuals who choose to actively support our work and share their passion for education with others.

Working Committees: There are many, many aspects that must be addressed in the operation of an organization such as ours. Indeed, as a Learning Organization, we offer many areas in which individuals can join our team by offering their time, expertise, and hard work. Emphasis is placed on hard work, however, as an important key to our success is in the enrollment of qualified and able volunteers who are willing to actively participate in building the best school possible. Some of the committees for which we need volunteers are:

• Long-Range Planning and Development
• Mirra Aditi Fund (by invitation only)
• Integral Parents Association: for parents of students attending the
  Integral Elementary School of La Jolla and the Rainbow Kids
  Integral School.
