Here's what our parents and others say about our school.
Our daughter, Rose, has been in Rainbow Kids Integral School for
one year. When she started school we were allowed to take our
time in transitioning her into the school environment and away
from us. She has been thriving in the RKIS environment. Rose
is excited to go to school and participate. She has never been
coerced into doing things she is not ready to do. We are excited
to have her meditate. She is developing her personality and spirituality
in a natural way and no particular views are imposed on her.
She learns so much at school that the time we spend together out
of school can be fun. Rose's experience at RKIS is positive and
nurturing. The staff is absolutely the best.

Our son, Zachary, is a very spirited child and he has truly blossomed
at Rainbow Kids. He was allowed to participate in different learning
and creative activities when he was ready. I have learned at home
that the more we push, the more he resists. The more standard
structure of activities and forced participation would have completely
squelched Zachary's spirit. Instead, he loves going to Rainbow
Kids and in fact; it is often difficult to leave even after very
full days. Though he showed no interest in arts or academics most
of last year, now he spends the majority of the day coloring,
cutting and creating. He also now has his own motivation for learning
to write. Rainbow Kids is allowing him to develop at his own pace.
Rainbow Kids has been a true blessing in our lives. Their approach
is sensitive to the individual child, allowing for the unfoldment
of the mind, body, and spirit. Their techniques use positive guidance
and loving support. There is nowhere else we would trust for Zachary's
care.

Julie is our single child after 12 years of marriage. As one can
imagine, we wanted to give her the best of everything. Sending
her to the Rainbow Kids School is one of the best things that
we had done for her. Julie is only three year old but had already attended
three other schools (including a Montessori school). Almost immediately,
we saw how the Rainbow Kids School made a difference. For example,
in the other schools, when we went to pick Julie up at the end
of the day, she always ran to us wanting to go home right away.
But starting right away on her first week at the Rainbow Kids
School, Julie wanted to stay longer and do more "work" when we
went to pick her up. It used to be very hard to convince Julie
to go to school in the morning. Now, she even wants to go to school
on weekends! We were also impressed by Julie's head teacher Ms.
Nancy. Her patience and support greatly helped Julie to overcome
her shyness in terms of communication with the teacher and the
other kids. We were always delighted to discover Ms. Nancy's efficient
teaching skills reflected in Julie playing school in the evenings. We
cannot have enough good things to say about this school. All the
staff there is so loving, caring, and full of entrepreneurship
sprit; you can see that their heart is completely into making
the Rainbow Kids School a model success of Integral Education.

I want to commend the dedicated and creative staff and administration
at the Rainbow Kids Integral School for addressing the need for
an alternative to the traditional schools for our unique new kids.
It is time that we accept the proposition that children cannot
be put in a box and labeled in order to keep the peace at school.
Education needs to adapt and open new doors to creative thinking.
It is no easy task but the need is great. Thank you to the Rainbow
Kids Integral School for focusing on the positive, and expanding
opportunities of education for all of our children.
